Meet the Crew
-
Patch
Patch is an Australian cattle dog (Red Heeler) and is the neighborhood socialite! She loves all things farm and if there is adventure—she will be there. Patch loves to go and spend time with our neighbors Bruce and Cosmo; Cosmo is also part of the farm as he is a self-promoted protector of our horses, donkeys, and mules. Wild Queen Peanut, one of our barn cats, also adores Patch and Patch adores her.
-
Princess Queen
I’m really just a baby! I’m a 2 year old donkey that was born on the farm. When I was very tiny, my humans would pick me up and carry me around everywhere! Jennifer, the daughter of a friend, happened to be there when I born. She wanted to name me Princess Queen, and I think it is the most fitting name!
-
Tiny Tim
Tiny Tim is tiny but mighty. Rescued from an exotic animal auction, he is a dwarf miniature horse. Only 22" tall and weighing a mere 53lbs, he may be one of the smallest horses in the world! Tiny Tim loves to ride in our RTV and go for rides in the car. He also loves peppermints!
-
Sammy
Sammy is an 8 year old Brazilian Indu Steer, but we let him think he is a bull! He’s a true gentle giant that retired from a Safari Park and is living out his days with us.
He is broken to ride and when you start to pet him, he leans on you and doesn't want you to stop. He can catch an apple like a dog and will even stick out his tongue for you!
-
Pumbee
Pumbee is a 3-year-old African Warthog who is super sweet and loves to be pet. Although she can be a picky eater, she loves strawberries and her best friend, Duchess the pig.
-
Duchess
A giant Duroc show pig, Duchess was the FFA state show champion. The teenage girl who showed her couldn’t bear to see Duchess go to market, so her parents came across us and she’s now living out her life here! Big yet gentle, Duchess is Pumbee’s best friend.
-
The Rabbits
I like big ears and I cannot lie… you other bunnies can’t deny! It is true, we have BIG floppy ears, and we are known as French lops.
We may be large for bunny standards, but we promise, we’re gentle giants.
-
Chewy
Chewy is a 2-year-old male Dromedary Camel who was bottle raised and the life of every party! He wants all of the attention and cannot resist getting pet. He will grow up to be in functions for non-profits, parades, and nativities around Christmas. Fun fact: camels live 20-40 years!
-
Swampy and Banksy
Hi, I’m Banksy! I am an Asian Water Buffalo (River) baby. I am currently being bottle raised on our farm and will grow up to be a gentle giant. Fun fact- I originate in Asia!
-
Zoe
We went searching for a zebra and found Zoe in Kentucky! We brought her home and raised her on a bottle for over a year. Her favorite person is my husband, Beau! Zoe has done fundraisers for non-profits and TV work. She is 10 years old.
-
Mara
-
Hannah
Hi! I’m Hannah. I am an 18 year old rescue, and I like to think I’m the sweetest, most loving, and gentle girl! Fun fact about me: I have been in the Highlands, NC Christmas parade for 14 years, among many other parades and nativities!
-
Little Buddy, Beau, & Duke
-
Crew
Crew is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees who is a huge polar bear! We got him from the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, and he and his sister arrived when they were about six months old. Crew loves people and children, but don't be fooled, he is a working dog—guaranteed to protect the farm! His sister Mosielle (Mo), on the other hand, did not like being a farm dog, so she lives comfortably with my sister in Atlanta.
-
Emily
Sweet Emily is a Jersey Dairy Calf that we bottle raised. She loves to be pet! One day, she will make us lots of milk and we hope to add that to one of the many experiences you can partake in while visiting our farm.
-
Lorah
We actually have two Lorah’s, so this is Lorah #2, a very sweet Calico barn cat! She loves to see who is visiting the Cottage, so you may get a visit from her during your stay.
-
Neal-Tonio
Dude- the ladies LOVE me. I really don’t get it, but I can’t keep these does off of me! I’m not from around here. I am from Nilgai, and I am the largest Asian Antelope known to man. I am very gentle and I love when I see humans on the ATV because it means I am either getting treats or a good pet! If you see me, I wear an orange collar (which might be why the ladies love me), but it’s really so the hunters don’t mistake me for a target.
-
Emma
Emma, also known as Meg, is 3-year-old Fainting Goat from Tennessee. We don’t have much background information on her, but she is a sweetie! When scared, fainting goats fall down and faint.
-
Billy
Billy is an American Bison raised by us on the farm and he loves to be pet. He was raised on the bottle and loves his humans! You will see him palling around with his best friend, Sammy.
-
Wild Queen Peanut
WQP is a barn cat with the most personality and she absolutely loves everyone! When a veterinarian came to the farm to check one of our cows, she brought her nephew—we asked him to name our new barn cat and so, Wild Queen Peanut it is!
-
Robbie
Robbie is another one of our working dogs! She is a Great Pyrenees that was in a home where her owners wanted her to be a house dog. After constantly escaping and always wanting to be outside, they brought her to us! She is free on our farm and happily protecting all our livestock—she loves children too!
-
Hibba & Margana
These are our youngest female Dromedary Camels! They are mother raised and very sweet, but reserved until they see treats!
-
Oreo
Oreo is a Belted Galloway Cow—people call them “oreo cows” because they are black on the front and back ends and white in the middle!
-
Yuna & Mira
These two are quite the duo! They are mother and daughter. Our two-hump (Bactrian) camel Yuna and her baby Mira are 2 of 10 in the state of Georgia.
-
Lucy and Marcy
Sister goats! These pretty girls are Nigerian dwarf goats. They are tiny, sweet, and love to be pet!
-
Buttercup
Buttercup is our storybook cow who is as sweet as she looks! She’ll come right to you when you visit and loves it when you rub her nose!
-
The Valais Blacknose
Also known as the worlds CUTEST sheep! Fun fact: There are only 3 people in the state of Georgia who have them! Babies are due in mid-march so make sure you book a stay to see and hold the worlds most adorable sheep!
